Gemma Evans
Hey, I’m Gemma, fiancé to Paul, Mam to my two boys Strand and Davis and Mama to our three fur babies Riio, Pacco and Xenna. I’m born and bred in the North East of England and live in a small town called Hetton.
I love what I do and empowering Women (and some Men) to become the best versions of themselves is my Passion. I believe if you feel good then the rest will follow and by running my 3 business’s Gemma Evans Self Love & Confidence Coaching , Gemma Evans Health & Wellness and Gemma Evans Tanning I am able to help everyone achieve this.
Having watched my dad try to kill himself from the age of 10, I’ve known from a very early age that life will always come with challenges but it’s not those challenges that define us as people, its how we choose to move on from them. My motto is that we can never change the past but we can always control what we do now to shape our future. With that in mind I can tell you that I’ve had my fair share of challenges, I had no idea I was different to anyone else as challenges are part of life, right? It was only after I started a coaching program in 2016 to help develop my online business, speaking to the coach about my past, I remember looking up and she was crying. Puzzled I asked her was she ok and she just said “Wow! Gemma you should write a book”, it was then I realised that I could use my past and my experience to help others. It was then that my coaching career developed and Gemma Evans Self-love & Confidence was born
My dad killing himself when I was 17, a nervous breakdown at 28, a domestically abusive relationship at the age of 30 have all had me on rock bottom, after the abusive relationship which resulted in my perpetrator trying to kill me then killing himself, I had no option but to rebuild myself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I became an ambassador for domestic abuse and have travelled the world telling my story and how I turned myself from a victim to a survivor to thriving.
I’ve spoken on stages and online to thousands of people, been the face of some huge brands for their campaigns to raise awareness of abuse, delivered the freedom program to women up and down the country. I’ve collaborated two best selling books and in 2019 I was asked by the Women’s Equality Party to represent them and take part in the General Election to become an MP in the Bury South area.
Each time I speak or represent a company or organisation I am contacted by hundreds of women, some realising that they are in an abusive relationship, some finding the courage to ask for help or to leave the abusive relationship.
“I can’t ever change what happened to me but if by telling my story I can help just one other woman then I will tell my story till the day I die”
The trauma from my past sadly took a strain on my physical health and in 2019 I was diagnosed with Adrenal Fatigue, having spending most of my time in bed I decided to retrain in the health industry and that’s how I became the proud owner of Gemma Evans Health, Wellness, Fitness & Nutrition
I love the life I have created for myself and now I can help others achieve the same, every day I get so much satisfaction in knowing I am helping others to become better versions of themselves.
Pop me a message of you would like any information about anything I have spoken about
Lots of Love
Gemma x
